Senior Product Manager, Intracellular Immunoassays

Job Summary

Develop and execute product line strategy by defining roadmaps, balancing innovation with operational excellence, and building business cases for new offerings. Partner with field-based commercial teams and R&D to capture customer feedback, synthesize voice of customer research, and define detailed product requirements. Own the full lifecycle of the ECL assay portfolio from new product introduction through forecasting, pricing, supply continuity, and commercial launch. Monitor the competitive environment to adjust positioning and tactics while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful development programs. Provide mentorship and guidance to other Product Managers in areas such as market sizing, financial forecasting, and product messaging.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in life science, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in product management
  • Excellent knowledge of product management best practices
  • Proven track record of success in positioning, managing, and marketing Life Science products through their life cycle to multiple customer segments
  • Demonstrated understanding of the principles of immunoassay platforms, their development, and their applicability in different research fields
  • Understanding of the technical and biological complexities of developing and commercializing tools for intracellular target measurement
  • Familiarity with other technologies in the space including flow cytometry, ELISA, and Western blot
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple and often changing priorities and issues of varying complexity, while meeting time-sensitive deadlines and deliverables
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills with the ability to translate information into a meaningful, understandable context and message, regardless of the format (e.g., documents, public speaking situations, presentations, etc.)
  • Ability to build/foster relationships by reinforcing trust and respect with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills, as well as the ability to handle complex situations and demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving
  • Demonstrated propensity to be creative, collaborative, proactive, and self-motivated in the execution and completion of assigned accountabilities
  • Ability to advise, mentor and guide teammates in product management best practices
  • Ability to travel
  • Working work outside normal business hours as needed
