Job Summary
Define product requirements and roadmaps for new hardware by identifying immediate user needs and prioritizing features using internal tools. Write detailed specifications and manage cross-functional collaboration with engineering and external teams to ensure efficient development. Guide go-to-market plans and maintenance strategies post-launch while monitoring feedback, support, and analytics to drive improvements. Develop a coherent product strategy aligned with broader business goals and identify adjacent opportunities to propose new product lines. Serve as the voice of the customer to launch products that support business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Hardware engineering or physics background
- Experience shipping software-enabled hardware product to customers
- Experience as a product founder or experience leading products in a startup environment
- Make data driven decisions
- Clear communicator, both written and oral
- Process oriented mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanical or electrical engineering degree
- MBA or experience in a consulting role
- Familiarity with manufacturing, regulatory, or product standards and compliance in industries like healthcare, pharma, or life sciences
- Experience with 3D printing technologies and materials
