Job Summary
Senior Product Manager, Grid Services responsible for direct ownership of active grid-services programs — Xcel AVPP, MassCPS, CT ESS, Efficiency Maine, and ERCOT retail energy. Own program mechanics, aggregator registration and compliance, customer revenue-share design, and settlement requirements for each, and serve as the primary cross-functional owner when Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Legal need program specifics. Build the pipeline for new utility programs, evaluate market-entry opportunities, and translate tariff and program requirements into deliverable product features and requirements to enable reliable VPP and grid-services delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience with direct ownership of outcomes from definition through delivery
- Experience reading utility tariffs, ISO program documents, or state program guides and translating them into concrete product requirements, not just summaries
- Direct experience in the utility, energy, or retail electricity industry; knowledge of demand response programs, aggregator registration, and ISO/RTO settlement operations
