Job Summary
Senior Product Manager for Mobile Payment at Samsung Wallet based in New York. Lead development and execution of product strategies within Samsung Wallet, defining use cases and owning core payment experiences including card registration, in-store and online payments, and Samsung branded card offerings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across US, Korea, Philippines, India and other regions to ensure timely delivery, drive product and technical requirements through internal and external stakeholders, manage project schedules and cross-functional readiness (contracts, marketing, beta testing), and update stakeholders with analytical dashboards. Requires engineering background and 7+ years IT experience with 5+ years in Product Management, experience in mobile-first payments or wallet domains, strong technical depth to defend feature priorities, proficiency with Jira/Confluence and data visualization tools, and ability to influence across dispersed teams. Willingness to travel for partner meetings or stakeholder engagements. Proactively balance multiple projects, optimize engineering bandwidth, and deliver features aligned with global HQ direction.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree (CS, EE, or similar)
- 7+ years IT industry experience
- 5+ years in Product Management
- Experience in large-scale mobile-first applications and services
- Payments, tokenization or wallet-related domain experience
- Strong technical depth to articulate product choices
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
- Data analysis/visualization skills (Excel, Tableau)
- Ability to influence across business and engineering without authority
- Project management experience and scheduling
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
- Willingness to travel for partner meetings
- Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams (PM, Business, Engineering, Marketing)
