Job Summary
Craft a multi-year data product vision for the Operations domain, articulating the value proposition for Returns, Store Ops, and Customer Orders. Define the strategic narrative for how this data should be governed, unified, and made self-service across the organization. Set direction on build-vs-buy decisions and architectural tradeoffs in partnership with engineering leadership. Represent the domain's strategy to executive leadership, translating technical complexity into business language and investment cases. Identify and prioritize high-leverage data capabilities while building alignment across Product, Tech, Data Science, and Business leaders. Shape organizational data governance standards and advocate for them at a leadership level. Anticipate where AI and emerging capabilities will change data usage, shaping the roadmap accordingly for analytical AI products. Mentor product managers and analysts executing against the domain roadmap.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in product management
- substantial portion spent in data strategy, data platform, or enterprise architecture contexts
- Demonstrated experience setting multi-year vision and strategy for a data domain
- Strong track record influencing at the executive level
- Deep familiarity with modern cloud data architecture concepts (e.g., GCP/BigQuery, Looker, medallion architecture)
- Strong point of view on data governance, domain modeling, and self-service enablement
- Working understanding of how AI/ML and natural-language tooling are changing data consumption patterns
- Excellent narrative and communication skills
- Experience building alignment across large, matrixed organizations with competing priorities
- Bachelor's degree
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree
- Hands-on data modeling experience (e.g., dimensional modeling, schema design)
- Prior exposure to shipping or scoping analytical AI products (forecasting, anomaly detection, recommendation/decisioning systems) built on governed enterprise data
