Job Summary
Drive Grata's data initiatives by strategizing and optimizing data accuracy, availability, and freshness to enhance customer workflows and expand product capabilities. Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering and data scientists to define roadmaps, prioritize features using a data-driven approach, and ship high-quality datasets. Build deep customer understanding through research and analysis while establishing yourself as a trusted leader in the product area. Translate complex data concepts into clear requirements and communicate insights to executive stakeholders. Work across machine learning, design, and QA to maintain reliability and scale with evolving business needs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience developing a strategic vision and product roadmap for data initiatives
- Experience in a prior startup or high-ambiguity environment
- Comfortable working hands-on with data to inform product decisions
- Able to write SQL and analyze datasets
- Working knowledge of how data is structured and moved
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Airflow, dbt)
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Python or R
- Domain knowledge and experience with the private capital markets
- Prior experience as a data scientist, data engineer or senior data analyst
