Senior Product Manager, Data Collections

Job Summary

Own the Data Collections Platform Strategy by defining the multi-year product vision and roadmap for collection management, agentic profiling, and visualization experiences. Build collection tooling and catalog infrastructure to govern discovery, metadata, and policy attachment across the ecosystem. Leverage LLM-powered data profiling capabilities to automatically characterize datasets and generate structured metadata, then deliver next-generation exploration tools for researchers and clinicians. Drive cross-platform adoption by partnering with solutions teams and enterprise partners to ensure consistent integration across the Pre Platform.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of progressive product management experience
  • 3+ years of direct experience building and shipping data platform products including data catalogs, data management tooling, or data infrastructure in a B2B enterprise environment
  • Proven ability to define and drive technical product roadmaps with engineering and data science teams
  • Strong command of data modeling, metadata management, and platform architecture concepts
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with multimodal biomedical data types (EHR, genomics, imaging, wearables) and industry data standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7, OMOP), as well as the governance challenges unique to health data
  • Experience building data products on cloud infrastructure such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS, with an understanding of cloud-native data architecture patterns
  • Hands-on experience building AI-powered data products leveraging LLMs for data profiling, metadata generation, semantic search, or automated data quality assessment, including experience with agentic workflows
  • Experience building enterprise data catalog products with a strong understanding of data governance, policy management, and the needs of data stewards, compliance teams, and research operators in healthcare or life sciences organizations
