Job Summary
Senior Product Manager, Customer Insights leads the Customer Insights product area end-to-end, building user-facing experiences and the data foundation to turn raw data into actionable narratives. Define Mural’s POV on AI-native insights as dashboards evolve to proactive, conversational interfaces. Own the canonical usage data layer, the customer-facing surface (dashboards, reports, logs, APIs), and the AI-native expansion (natural language queries, agentic workflows). Drive product strategy, roadmap, and execution from data model through customer-facing experience; partner with Engineering and Data to define metrics anchoring renewals and expansion; evolve enterprise-ready audit logs; translate insights into narratives that win renewals and expand adoption; collaborate with Sales and Customer Success; engage with Admins, IT, Security stakeholders to validate priorities; co-own with Admin & IAM and Enterprise Security PMs for permissions and compliance. Translate ambiguous business questions into clear product surfaces. Bonus: experience with enterprise admin/governance products, BI/analytics platforms, and customer-facing APIs for analytics. The base salary ranges from $160,000 - $215,000 plus bonus and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of product management experience, including analytics, reporting, or data products for a business or admin audience
- Strong data fluency in shaping data models, instrumentation strategy, and pipeline tradeoffs
- AI product sense and experience with AI-native data products
- Track record of turning ambiguous business questions into clear product surfaces
- Experience partnering with Sales and Customer Success on renewal and expansion narratives
- Excellent communication across data, design, engineering, and revenue-facing stakeholders
