Job Summary
Senior Product Manager for Content Safety at Canva. Translate complex multi-stakeholder needs into intuitive products and services, collaborating with engineers on solutions that turn safety into usability, and coordinating with cross-functional teams including data science, investigations, operations, legal, policy, GenAI, education, and enterprise. Define and articulate measurable safety outcomes linked to value, prioritize requests for the team, and collaborate with engineering leadership to refine and operationalise the vision and roadmap for content safety (including review tooling, policy enforcement, efficiency, UX, and wellness). Proactively communicate product vision and roadmap progress to stakeholders, be an escalation point for Trust & Safety incidents and investigations, and drive adoption timelines with buy-in from internal teams. The role requires passion for keeping people safe, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver high-impact safety capabilities while aligning with industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in relevant product management across policy, machine learning, operations tooling, education, or compliance
- Strong understanding of customer safety as a business enabler
- Track record delivering large-scale projects in fast-paced organisations
- Cross-functional fluency with engineering, data, operations, and business teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to balance long-term vision with timely delivery in a high-growth environment
- Data-driven mindset with ability to act with incomplete information
