Job Summary
Lead product management by championing the customer's perspective through daily unbiased user research and rigorous data analysis to drive lightning-fast, data-driven decisions. Collaborate with design, engineering, and leadership to shape product vision, execute AI-first workflows including agent architecture and prompt iteration, and ensure seamless implementation across the Practice Management Suite. Conduct market and competitive analyses to uncover opportunities in the accounting industry while fostering transparency and delighting users through cross-functional teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in product management (or closely related) roles
- Proven ability to conduct unbiased research, design and develop great products people love, preferably for consumer-facing products
- Experience building a product strategy and vision that is aligned cross-functionally with engineering, sales, CS, and marketing
- A builder mentality: you've shipped products end-to-end, you know what it takes to go from zero to one, and you don't wait for perfect conditions to make progress
- Demonstrated AI fluency: you think AI-first when approaching product problems and can lead confidently in an AI-first product environment
- Experience with 3rd-party integrations and the challenges associated with it
- Proven ability to lead through transparent communication and service-like influence
- A passion for analyzing product usage data
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Experience with design-centered product development
- Enough technical expertise with a microservice platform to know what's up
- A sense of humor, empathy, confidence, and humility
- Ability to perform onsite user research including traveling out of state 2-3 times a year
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the B2B fintech space and/or an accounting background is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field is preferred, but not required
- Experience supporting accounting professionals or a strong understanding of accounting-focused practices
