Senior Product Manager, Business Platform

$130,000–$160,000 year

RemoteUnited States

Full TimeSenior LevelSmallFintech Services

Job Summary

Own bi-weekly sprint planning and backlog sequencing for the Salesforce-based business platform powering underwriting, servicing, funding, and compliance. Lead stand-ups as the primary workload contact for the engineering team, manage structured intake from operational stakeholders to prioritize work, and coordinate rollouts with enablement and instrumentation. Define success metrics including cycle time, throughput, and adoption rates, then report realized impact rather than delivery. Ensure all platform changes follow standard deployment processes to protect integration integrity. Partner daily with the Salesforce engineering team on scoping and sequencing within the standard release process.

Required Qualifications

  • 4 - 6 years in product management with meaningful ownership of internal platforms, business systems, or operational tooling
  • Working knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem with enough experience to scope realistically, understand configuration vs. custom development trade-offs, and respect deployment discipline
  • Proven stakeholder management with large, non-technical user bases; you've run intake processes and defended prioritization decisions
  • You measure product success in operational outcomes such as throughput, cycle time, and adoption, and can show it
  • High autonomy: You've operated with a director who sets direction, not one who reviews your tickets
  • Track record at a startup or growth-stage company; comfortable when priorities shift
  • Salesforce certifications in business administration, development, or similar domains

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech, lending, or proptech operations — underwriting, servicing, or funding workflows
  • Experience with workflow automation, document processing, or AI-assisted operational tooling
  • Experience inheriting a product from a founder-owner and earning stakeholder trust through the transition
