Job Summary
Own the roadmap for Rain's onchain product, driving end-to-end delivery of smart contracts, chain and asset coverage, settlement, and payments. Partner with engineering on protocol tradeoffs including contract architecture, collateralization logic, and node reliability to translate technical constraints into partner-facing decisions. Decide which chains, assets, and stablecoins to support by balancing liquidity, security, cost, and regulatory exposure while maintaining a high security bar through audits and incident response. Translate complex infrastructure into intuitive surfaces and documentation, gather direct partner feedback to prioritize high-leverage work, and measure ruthlessly to iterate quickly.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of product management experience
- Track record of shipping products from zero-to-one through scale at a product-led company
- Strong engineering culture and high bar for quality
- Deep, hands-on blockchain fluency
- Experience shipping onchain products
- Ability to reason unaided about EVM and Solana mechanics
- Knowledge of smart contract design and upgrade patterns
- Understanding of gas economics
- Knowledge of bridging models
- Ability to reason about onchain tradeoffs
- Exceptional product judgment
- Analytical rigor
- Senior, autonomous operator mindset
- Ability to define the problem, drive the plan, and own the outcome without needing close direction
- Sound instincts on onchain security and risk
- Knowledge of where value gets lost
