Job Summary
Establish the competitive set of proposed new roadmap capabilities to solve unmet needs and define practical requirements for each release. Drive product vision, strategies, and roadmaps by prioritizing highest impact capabilities and delivering business cases for investment. Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Care, Sales, and Product Marketing to identify customer problems and deliver cohesive experiences across devices. Identify and track key performance indicators to measure portfolio performance while managing tradeoffs spanning team capacity, timing, and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Technical background at least at the undergraduate level
- Minimum 5 years' Product experience in a mixed hardware and software environment
- Product management methodology fluency, including prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, MoSCoW) and familiarity with roadmap/backlog tools (e.g., Jira)
- Data and analytics proficiency — comfortable working with product analytics or BI tools and translating data into actionable decisions
- Financial and business acumen, including ROI modeling, budgeting, and building investment cases
- Strong written communication skills, particularly for specifications, requirements documents, and executive-level updates
- Stakeholder management and cross-functional influence — able to align and drive alignment across teams without direct authority
- Market and competitive research skills — techniques for competitive analysis, customer discovery, and opportunity identification
- Technical fluency in hardware/software product environments — able to converse credibly with engineering on architecture and constraints
- Sound judgment under ambiguity — comfortable making and defending tough tradeoff decisions with incomplete information
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- MBA is nice to have, but not required as long as you have a strong understand of business and economics fundamentals
- Growth mindset — willingness to learn, follow and improve processes, and take ownership of your product area
- Experience with desktop AI environments (e.g. Claude Desktop) a plus, especially in regardless to accelerating Product Management practice
