Job Summary
Own a defined slice of BillingCenter end-to-end, from customer discovery through launch and adoption. Run the discovery–delivery loop by talking to carriers, documenting problems, writing specs, partnering with engineering and design, and measuring outcomes after launch. Contribute to the roadmap by bringing evidence and a clear point of view to help the team make better prioritization calls. Engage directly with carriers to build trusted relationships with billing operations, finance, and IT leaders, turning insights into product investments. Partner daily with engineers and architects on scoping, sequencing, and trade-offs while coordinating across the suite to ensure your area fits the broader carrier experience. Define success metrics such as adoption, cycle time, and straight-through processing to drive your next set of bets.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of product management experience
- time on enterprise B2B SaaS products serving large customers
- Direct experience with P&C insurance
- Direct experience in billing, payments, or fintech
- Track record of shipping meaningful features end-to-end
- Solid technical fluency
- can learn and become an expert in the complex billing application
- can read API contracts
- reason about data models
- have substantive design conversations with senior engineers
- Strong written and verbal communication
- can translate fluidly between customer language, product spec, and engineering detail
- Comfort working on a team alongside more senior PMs and a GM
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Guidewire InsuranceSuite
- Duck Creek
- Majesco
- or comparable core insurance platforms
- Exposure to AI/ML or agentic features in a production product
- Experience on a product going through cloud/SaaS migration with a large installed base of on-prem customers
- Background working with carrier finance, treasury, or accounting stakeholders
- Prior experience as an engineer, solutions architect, business analyst, or implementation consultant on core insurance systems
