Job Summary
Senior Product Manager for Authenticators to lead strategy and roadmaps for phishing-resistant credentials (passkeys, FIDO2 WebAuthn, PIV, Yubikey) and recovery flows, partnering with engineering, design, and security teams to deliver customer outcomes at enterprise scale. Role requires defining specs, owning product strategies, communicating across leadership, and influencing across cross-functional teams. Requires 5+ years in enterprise SaaS product management, BS in CS/Engineering (or technical degree), and eligibility to work in the U.S. with U.S. person status. Involves collaboration with global teams and ownership of the authentication experience for billions of logins per month, with a focus on security and scale.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Technical Product Management experience in enterprise scale SaaS products, Identity and Access management or comparable relevant experience
- Experience building or product managing the feature areas for enterprise platform ecosystems/services
- Experience developing, socializing, and driving strategies spanning multiple parts of an organization
- Strong communication (presentation, verbal and written) and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated business results from products, features or capabilities you have shipped
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Passion for Okta’s huge opportunity and growth potential, and general thirst for learning with an ability to go broad and deep across business and technical contexts
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or technical degree that allows you to rationalize and influence technical design decisions
- Functional leadership experience, MBA, or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with Identity and Access management protocols and products
- Advanced degree in technical or business field
- Experience across the product management lifecycle for enterprise products or services, integration considerations surfaced in the user experience in particular
- Experience with creating requirements for security focused customers
