Job Summary
Own product strategy and roadmap for the AI chat product from concept through launch and iteration. Write high-quality PRDs as the primary deliverable for distributed engineering and design partners. Define the AI interaction model, including conversation design, persona systems, memory, safety boundaries, and monetization surfaces. Drive execution with engineering teams across time zones via a standing evening working window. Own metrics covering retention, engagement depth, conversion, and unit economics per user, including inference costs. Run competitive and technical scanning of the global AI companion market to inform roadmap decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years in product management
- at least 2 years shipping AI or LLM-powered consumer products
- Experience with consumer content or entertainment products
- SaaS or platform background
- familiarity with subscription and in-app purchase mechanics
- Exceptional written specification skills
- Flexibility to work across multiple time zones
- ability to collaborate with teams across countries, functions, and backgrounds
- Experience in a global-to-local environment
- managing cross-functional stakeholders across multiple time zones
- Comfort with ambiguity
