Job Summary
Own the strategy and roadmap for Vanta's agent ecosystem products, defining how agents discover, access, and safely use Vanta capabilities through MCP, CLI, and plugin surfaces. Lead marketplace and plugin launches by aligning product, engineering, legal, security, and go-to-market teams, while partnering with engineering and design to ship secure, reliable developer tools. Build the developer-facing marketing motion by creating documentation and customer stories that demonstrate MCP and CLI user outcomes. Partner with product partnerships and alliances teams on co-marketing with agent platforms like Anthropic and OpenAI, defining adoption and quality metrics to prioritize work.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience, taking products from strategy through to shipped outcomes
- Experience shipping developer-facing or programmatic products (APIs, integrations, plugins, SDKs, or CLI tools), and comfort treating MCP, CLI, and plugins as product surfaces
- Technical fluency with APIs, authentication, and developer tools
- Hands-on experience building with AI and agent tools, not just evaluating them
- Experience taking complex products or partnerships from strategy through launch
- Ability to connect ecosystem opportunities to customer problems and product outcomes
- Experience building relationships with technology platforms, AI companies, developer communities, or enterprise customers
- Experience leading cross-functional work across product, engineering, design, marketing, partnerships, legal, and go-to-market
- Strong written and verbal communication, and sound judgment in ambiguous environments
- Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work, demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact
