Job Summary
Senior Product Manager 2 leads the strategy, roadmap, and end-to-end delivery of Transportation Management System capabilities within Nordstrom's Supply Chain Product Management. Owns the TMS product roadmap, defines requirements, and partners with operations, carrier management, finance, and engineering to drive transportation efficiency, cost optimization, and carrier execution. Manages a complex backlog, drives UAT and E2E testing, and translates complex TMS topics into clear communications for executives. Responsible for KPI monitoring (shipment accuracy, carrier compliance, tender acceptance, cost-per-shipment, on-time performance), cross-functional alignment, vendor relationships, and ensuring timely, high-quality product launches across domestic parcel and international freight. Strong emphasis on end-to-end delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of TMS capabilities with a focus on routing, rating, carrier integration, and data workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex, enterprise-scale platform products
- Direct experience owning or deeply contributing to Transportation Management System products (rating, routing, carrier integration, tendering, or financial settlement)
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent product launches in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven prioritization and measurement of outcomes
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership with operations, engineering, finance, and executive leadership alignment
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, backlog management, and structured requirements definition
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or advanced certification in Product Management (e.g., CSPO, Pragmatic Institute)
- 2 years of experience in Transportation space
- 2 years of experience in Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Experience managing external vendor relationships and navigating third-party platform roadmaps
- Familiarity with carrier API integrations, EDI standards, and transportation data flows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven prioritization
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, backlog management, and structured requirements definition
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
