Job Summary
Senior PLM 2 role focused on Trail - Men's Apparel, responsible for crafting mid-term merchandising strategies (2-4 year plans) across product categories, mentoring Associate PLMs and PLMs, partnering with Merchandising and Planning to execute category strategies, managing product lifecycles from development to retirement, shaping seasonal selling plans and GTM direction, and developing global product frameworks to maximize sales and brand position. The role involves collaborating with Design/Development, delivering product briefs and presentations, maintaining partnerships across Visual Merchandising, Brand Marketing, and Color teams, owning global go-to-market knowledge, and upholding responsible-sourcing practices. The candidate should bring 8+ years in merchandising, 3+ years leading a team, strong leadership and communication skills, retail-math fluency, travel readiness, and a deep understanding of the active outdoor apparel market.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in a merchandising environment with product-led brands
- 3+ years experience leading a team or function
- strong leadership and teamwork skills
- creative and strategic thinker
- excellent knowledge of retail math concepts (sell-through, COGs, OTB)
- highly organized with strong time management
- proven track record in leading a team for multi-year strategy
- excellent understanding of active outdoor apparel market
- understanding of design and development process
- proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
