Job Summary
Manage complex product liability claims by conducting investigations, analyzing coverage, evaluating liability and damages, and overseeing reserving and resolution. Direct defense counsel on settlement values and strategies, select expert witnesses, and negotiate adjustments while monitoring legal expenses. Ensure proper file documentation, prepare management reports, and attend trials, mediations, and insured meetings. Keep stakeholders apprised of developments and stay current on legal changes affecting claims. Deliver presentations to internal stakeholders and brokers. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five+ years in complex product liability cases, and 25% travel. Salary range $100,739.00 - $166,236.00. Hybrid or fully remote in the contiguous United States with periodic visits to the Chantilly VA office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum five years' experience in the handling complex product liability cases
- at least seven years' experience in the legal field

- willingness and ability to be available beyond normal business hours
- New hires will report to the Chantilly VA office every couple of months when initially starting
