Job Summary
Build highly performant, stable frontends for the Starbridge platform that explain technical concepts to non-technical users while enabling rapid iteration based on customer feedback. Design and maintain user-facing structures that balance high UX/UI standards with the need for quick structural changes. Collaborate closely with product and design teams to ensure the frontend accurately reflects evolving requirements. Optimize code for performance by measuring and refining work to maintain stability. Contribute to architectural decisions and CI/CD pipelines where applicable. This role sits within our early engineering team in New York City, focusing on building bridges to help customers win through a customer-centric approach.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience working on modern web ecosystems
- Experience working in a startup or a smaller company with real engineering impact
- 5+ years of experience with React, Typescript, Javascript, RESTful API, CSS, and other front-end technologies
- Experience as a technical lead making architectural design decisions
- Github CI/CD
