Senior Product Engineer

Job Summary
Execute product lifecycle engineering projects for Pall Medical, including product changes, VAVE, and sustainability activities. Support global product and process upgrades while actively participating in Continuous Improvement projects and Kaizen events. Work closely with R&D and cross-functional teams to verify and validate new products, high-volume manufacturing lines, and injection mold tools from development through manufacturing transfer and launch. Contribute to reliability improvement programs utilizing best CAPA practices. This on-site role in Cardiff requires a degree in Engineering or Science and experience in life science manufacturing. Limited overnight travel to UK manufacturing and supplier sites is required with a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or Science, or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Experience in a Life Science oriented manufacturing company or similarly regulated industry
- Understanding and experience of risk assessment and technical change control validation techniques within a regulated industry
- Ability to use structured problem-solving techniques to drive to root cause and sustain improvements
- Ability to prioritize, manage and complete projects with limited direction, on time and in full
- Travel, Motor Vehicle Record: Limited overnight travel to manufacturing, supplier, and customer sites, typically within UK
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments and functions
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Knowledge of six sigma and the use of statistical tools
