Job Summary
Design and implement automated tests for UI and API using Playwright while building and maintaining automation frameworks to support continuous testing. Define and execute comprehensive test strategies across application layers, perform exploratory testing to identify issues, and ensure proper coverage for new features. Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment. Contribute to observability and quality metrics practices within a technically focused organization working on complex, distributed systems.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer with 4-6 years in the field
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and API testing
- Solid programming skills in Java for developing test frameworks
- Strong understanding of test design principles and strategies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience working within Agile methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber (advantageous)
- Familiarity with performance or load testing tools (beneficial)
- Understanding of observability and quality metrics practices (beneficial)
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems (advantageous)
