Job Summary
Senior Product Development Engineer – Liquid Cooling for Front-End I/O Connectors. Lead design and development of liquid cooling plates and microchannel structures for high-density front-end I/O applications; select materials and ensure long-term reliability in data center environments. Collaborate with connector design teams to ensure manufacturability; define and execute thermal performance testing (heat dissipation, flow analysis, environmental stress tests); coordinate qualification and certification processes with internal labs and external partners. Manage cross-functional projects from concept through production; track timelines and deliverables. Serve as technical liaison to customers with proactive communication, technical presentations, and issue resolution. Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering and 5+ years of product development experience; strong CAD (SolidWorks/Creo) and thermal simulation (ANSYS/FloTHERM) skills; proven project management and customer-facing capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in product development, preferably in thermal management or connector technologies
- Strong proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo) and thermal simulation software (ANSYS, FloTHERM)
- Proven experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent communication skills and customer-facing experience
