Job Summary
Senior Product Designer to join CoStar Group's Real Estate Manager and Visual Lease teams in Richmond, VA. Responsibilities include producing designs with input from product teams (flows, high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes), acting as user advocate in cross-functional teams, conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions, creating intuitive products using design thinking and current best practices, collaborating with product managers and engineers to incorporate design requirements, managing multiple design projects from concept through production, contributing to design systems and documentation, and mentoring teammates. Preferred qualifications include experience with workflow design, financial visualization concepts, data modeling concepts, and familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The role emphasizes hands-on design work, user advocacy, and improving the end-user experience for enterprise software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- 5+ years relevant design experience with a product team
- Experience designing complex workflows and design systems
- Proficiency with Figma
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and provide design critique
