Job Summary
Define UX strategy and design direction for Roblox's Ads Platform and tooling, evolving complex, end-to-end experiences that help advertisers launch impactful campaigns and creators maximize their earning potential. Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and Data Science to translate business goals into intuitive product experiences, using data to validate design direction and drive continuous improvement. Prototype and iterate on complex interactions in Figma and other tools to test ideas quickly, collaborating with design systems teams to ensure consistency and scalability. Navigate ambiguity to influence product strategy across a multi-faceted ecosystem, communicating design rationale to senior leadership while mentoring peers to raise the bar for craft. This role sits at the intersection of deep systems thinking and high-craft UX/UI, reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Design, Ads & Brands.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in product design
- proven track record of shipping consumer-facing, platform, or complex B2B products
- portfolio demonstrating exceptional interaction and visual design craft
- strong product, systems, and strategic thinking
- Experience designing complex workflows, platforms, or tools that serve multiple user types and business needs
- Strong proficiency in Figma
- confidence in prototyping complex, multi-state interactions and systems
- Experience with advertising, commerce, monetization, creator platforms, marketplaces, or other multi-sided ecosystems
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence cross-functional decisions, and balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
- ability to articulate design strategy and rationale to both working teams and senior leadership
- A passion for immersive platforms, gaming, user-generated content, or tools that enable people to create and express themselves
