Senior Product Designer (Fixed Term Contract)

Job Summary
Senior Product Designer to lead end-to-end design across two squads (Connections and Pricing & Packaging) during a 9-month fixed-term contract, evolving from onboarding with a Leading Designer to sole ownership and cross-squad delivery. You’ll partner with Product Managers and Engineers to Discover, shape, and deliver customer-loved experiences, conduct usability testing and interviews, leverage AI tools for exploration, and use analytics to validate impact. Proficiency with Figma, familiarity with iOS/Android/web UI patterns, and a background in cross-functional collaboration are required; experience with two-sided marketplaces or SaaS is an advantage. The role is hybrid-based with Sydney, Australia as the primary location.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of commercial experience in product or UX design for web and mobile
- Experience across the full design cycle, from research to post-release iteration
- Experience in cross-functional teams with Product Managers and Engineers
- Ability to own design work end-to-end and operate with limited direction
- Experience with AI tools to enhance research, design, and concept exploration
- Proficiency with Figma and other prototyping tools
- Understanding of iOS, Android and web UI patterns (React Native and web)
- Comfort using analytics tools like Mixpanel to inform and validate design decisions
