Job Summary
Design and prototype simple, playful learning experiences for the Duolingo app while driving large work streams with independence. Partner with engineers and product managers to define features across mobile apps, website, and communications, collaborating with cross-functional teammates to polish learner flows and support campaigns. Lead as a peer mentor across the Design team, working with artists to expand the design language and consider every aspect of a finely crafted experience, from animation and copy to business impact.
Required Qualifications
- An online portfolio featuring simple consumer mobile apps
- Fluency in creating high fidelity prototypes quickly
- Experience shipping products at scale in a product organization
- The ability to explain your work and decisions simply and concisely
- A big appetite for feedback to help you make your best work
- A bravery in solving hard problems within ambiguity and complexity
