Job Summary
Lead trend strategy and product design direction for Disney's Food+ portfolio across EMEA, identifying emerging macro themes and crafting conceptual narratives that scale with partners and retailers. Shape the product development roadmap by pinpointing growth platforms and managing licensee accounts from concept through final approval, ensuring all offerings meet brand integrity and commercial standards. Provide senior-level oversight of end-to-end product quality, setting scalable creative standards while partnering with internal teams to drive revenue targets and KPIs. Manage a high-performing design and development team, delivering coaching and succession planning while balancing innovation with consistency. Report to the Product Design and Development Director in London, working onsite four days per week with occasional international travel.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in product design and development or related consumer products fields
- Expertise in management leading creative or product development teams
- Advanced trend knowledge
- Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes
- Understanding of key techniques, vendor capabilities, and production lead times
- Ability to translate industry and cultural trends into commercially viable opportunities
- Excellent conceptual and product design skills
- Strong understanding of fabric, colour, materials, and product design principles
- Proven experience creating prototypes and models
- Proficiency in communicating design concepts through CAD and digital tools
- Advanced proficiency in Mac OSX
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proven partner and licensee management experience across multiple accounts and territories
- Experience fostering strong business relationships and managing approvals through systems such as OPA
- Highly organised
