Job Summary
Triage incoming legal issues autonomously, resolving matters within expertise and escalating complex topics to specialists. Serve as the primary legal point of contact for a high-growth business unit, advising Product, Design, Marketing, and Engineering teams throughout the product life cycle from ideation to launch. Streamline and simplify legal reviews while identifying and mitigating risks related to AI agents, privacy, and regulatory developments. Develop creative strategies for handling legal issues, build scalable processes, and own aspects of the intellectual property portfolio. Monitor evolving AI and SaaS regulations to guide internal stakeholders and deliver training on relevant topics. Operate independently with minimal guidance, managing multiple projects efficiently and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted and in good standing in at least your local jurisdiction
- 7+ years of relevant legal experience
- Experience at large and small B2B SaaS or technology companies
- Time at a top law firm
- Strong understanding of relevant areas of law, such as intellectual property, AI governance and data privacy laws
- History of developing a culture of getting to yes if

- Ability to learn new things quickly

- Healthy sense of humor
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder-management skills
