Job Summary
Monitor trading portfolio performance through daily P&L reporting and exception analysis for the Global Markets business. Perform P&L reconciliation against the General Ledger and conduct attribution analysis of portfolio results due to market movements. Execute trade surveillance including OMR monitoring, FX Global Code Monitoring, and Wash Trade Monitoring. Serve as the key contact point for GM P&L and valuation issues, coordinating with Global Markets front office, Finance, Market Risk Managers, and Group Head Office counterparts. Maintain criminal record checks for candidates per bank policy. Requires Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline, 3–6 years of experience in Product Control or Market Risk, and strong Excel and data analysis skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Risk Management, or a related discipline
- 3–6 years of experience in Product Control, Market Risk, Finance, Valuation Control, or Risk Management within Global Markets
- Strong attention to detail with a control and risk mindset
- Solid knowledge of P&L analysis, reconciliation, and valuation principles
- Experience working with trading systems, risk systems, or P&L reporting tools
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Valid criminal record check (as required by bank policy for this position)
Desired Qualifications
- Practical understanding of traded products such as FX, rates, and derivatives
- Familiarity with automation or reporting tools
