Senior Product Content Engineer

Job Summary
Senior Product Content Engineer responsible for producing high-quality technical content across Togetherwork's product portfolio using AI-first workflows. Own API documentation, release notes, in-app context help, and internal enablement materials, and serve as the primary architect of AI content pipelines powering the team’s output. Design prompt systems, build automated content workflows, and apply editorial judgment to AI-generated content. Partner with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, and other teams to embed content production into the delivery lifecycle and ensure documentation and in-app help are ready at launch. Coach and mentor the Product Content Engineer on pipeline usage and editorial standards. Located in Austin, TX with hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 7+ years of technical writing, content engineering, or product documentation experience in SaaS or software environments
- Demonstrated experience building AI-powered content workflows using LLMs, prompt engineering, and automation tools
- Strong technical writing skills with experience producing API documentation, developer guides, and reference materials
- Experience writing release notes, in-app help, and enablement content for multi-product portfolios
- Proficiency with documentation tools and platforms (Confluence, Jira, Swagger/OpenAPI, ReadMe, or similar)
- Analytical mindset with experience measuring content effectiveness and iterating based on data
- Excellent editorial judgment, able to assess AI-generated output for accuracy, clarity, and tone
- Collaborative and comfortable working across Product, Engineering, CX, and Revenue teams
- Must be located in Austin, TX; hybrid work required
