Job Summary
Senior Product Associate on the Small and Mid-sized Business Payments team drives end-to-end product lifecycle for payments products, leveraging user research and customer feedback to identify opportunities, write requirements, epics, and user stories, and collaborate with product managers and engineering to deliver production-ready releases. Responsibilities include backlog management, planning sessions (Release and Sprint), pre-release regression testing and QA, and cross-functional issue resolution to improve the customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent in product management or relevant domain
- Proficient knowledge of product development lifecycle (discovery, requirements definition, stories)
- Experience with writing epics and user stories
- Experience coordinating with product managers and engineering partners
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Self-starter with problem-solving and attention to detail
- Understanding of development processes, database usage, and microservices (e.g., Kafka, APIs)
- Proficient with JIRA, Microsoft Office tools, and Confluence
