Job Summary
Senior Product Associate in Payments Data & Analytics leads the development of AI/ML-driven analytics products for Merchant Services, partnering with Data Science, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to shape product strategy from discovery through delivery. Responsibilities include harvesting user research and market insights to inform the roadmap, defining requirements (epics and user stories), establishing product KPIs/OKRs and instrumentation, running experiments and A/B tests to drive engagement and business impact, enabling scalable and compliant data platforms, and ensuring governance, privacy, and model risk considerations are embedded throughout the lifecycle. The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration, discovery interviews and usability testing, and delivering value for internal users and clients across the Payments organization.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in product management or a relevant domain area
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile environments
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
- Management consulting skillset (problem solving, impact orientation, business understanding, program management, executive presence, presentation skills)
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or business discipline (preferred)
- Experience with enterprise data platforms, analytics tooling, and/or MLOps workflows (e.g., feature stores, model deployment, monitoring)
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and translating them into product features and controls
