Job Summary
Senior Product Associate, Payments Data & Insights supports product development and optimization through user research and metrics analysis, collaborating across cross-functional teams to shape JPMorgan Payments products and the data strategy. Responsibilities include partnering with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities from user research and discovery; planning upstream/downstream implications of features; supporting user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic roadmap; analyzing product metrics across the development lifecycle; writing requirements, epics, and user stories; defining data strategy for the JPMorgan Payments business; identifying opportunities to invest in data and analytics capabilities; owning relationships with stakeholders of JPMorgan data platforms and products. Preferred qualifications include experience in a matrixed organization, hands-on data analytics with tools like SQL/Python, and formal education in a technical field; advanced knowledge of data platforms and cloud infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Proven ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders/clients
- Experience creating and executing on complex business strategies in the product and technology spaces
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Experience working hands-on in the data and analytics space using advanced analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, etc.)
- Formal education in a technical field, e.g., engineering, computer science, mathematics, finance, etc.
