Job Summary
Lead by example through play testing, inspiring professional candor, and ensuring full consideration of estimates, direction, and player input. Partner with Design, Engineering, Art, QA, and production teams to scope, schedule, and ensure deliverables while maintaining the best organizational structure and processes for efficient output. Own the outcome by driving complicated tradeoff decisions, serving as a partner to the Release team, and keeping major databases like Shotgrid and JIRA up to date. Own the schedule by building and maintaining project plans, schedules, and roadmaps that consider dependencies across multiple development teams to ensure successful releases. Proactively communicate project status and risks to stakeholders to ensure they are properly informed of any impacts from upcoming releases.
Required Qualifications
- Developed 2+ games from concept through launch in production/project management roles
- 3+ years operating a live service game
- Strong experience using JIRA and other core project management tools
- Deep understanding of game development, partner approval processes, and dependency chains
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated strong communication skills with varying levels of stakeholders, within your team and throughout the company
- Ability to exhibit amazing problem-solving skills daily
- Ability to drive high velocity, high impact development cycles
- Ability to balance short-term needs and long-term vision
- Ability to adapt and be effective in new situations within a highly dynamic environment
