Job Summary
The Senior Procurement Manager oversees the entire project procurement lifecycle including drafting materials management and contracts management strategies, implementing procurement processes, and ensuring adherence to ethical business practices. This role involves supervising the procurement team across various disciplines, interface with clients to address potential issues, and resource planning for effective project delivery. Candidates must have extensive experience in an EPCM environment, fluency in both English and Korean, and strong negotiation and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 20+ years of experience in management role
- Fluent in English and Korean speaking and written communication
- Experience with drafting of commercial terms and conditions
- Understanding of related legal implications
- Ability to set up and execute contracting and purchasing strategies
Desired Qualifications
- Related training in Contracts/Legal as well as general project and management related training
- Experience in an EPCM project environment with capital projects
- Proficient negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent understanding of procurement processes and corporate governance principles
- Knowledge of quality systems, environmental, health and safety regulations, procurement systems reporting tools
