Job Summary
The Senior Procurement Manager oversees the procurement lifecycle from the project proposal phase to close-out, ensuring effective materials and contracts management. Responsibilities include drafting and coordinating procurement strategies, implementing procurement processes, supervising procurement team members, and interfacing with clients to address objectives and challenges. Applicants should possess over 20 years of experience in an EPCM project environment, fluency in both English and Korean, and thorough expertise in procurement processes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience (20+ years) in an EPCM project environment with capital projects
- Fluency in both English and Korean (spoken and written)
- Related training in Contracts/Legal as well as general project and management related training
- Excellent understanding of procurement processes which include both materials and contracts management and corporate governance principles
- Experience, understanding, ability to set up and execute contracting and purchasing strategies
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of quality systems, environmental, health and safety regulations
- Experience with drafting of commercial terms and conditions
