Job Summary
The Senior Procurement Manager will develop and execute category strategies for significant procurement spend, manage sourcing professionals, oversee supplier performance, and ensure compliance while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of sourcing and supplier relations experience
- 8+ years leading procurement teams at a managerial level
- 5+ years in the OEM elevator industry or similar business
Desired Qualifications
- Master's/MBA preferred
- Certifications: Institute for Supply Management (ISM) CPSM, CIPS, or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
- Experience managing MRO
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; Oracle; Advanced Excel abilities (pivot tables, VLookup, macros, charting/graphing)
- Experience with ERP systems, Spend Data Analytics & Reporting, eSourcing, inclusive of eAuctions, and contract management systems
- Skilled at change management; well-honed 'radar' for stakeholder management
- Demonstrated negotiation skills including an understanding of supplier contract management
- Exceptional persuasion and interpersonal skills to interact with suppliers, business leaders, and all other internal stakeholders
