Job Summary
Lead procurement planning activities by developing Statements of Work, IGCEs, and acquisition strategies while overseeing documentation review for FAR and DHS policy compliance. Coordinate with contracting officers and stakeholders to support timely contract awards, monitor milestones, and maintain acquisition tracking systems. Support subcontractor sourcing, evaluation, and performance oversight while providing status reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior leadership. Ensure cost efficiency through market research, vendor competition, and contract optimization. Requires a Bachelor's degree in acquisition or supply chain management, 15 years of federal procurement experience, and a CBP background investigation. Some travel is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in acquisition, supply chain management, or a closely related discipline
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in the following:
- In-depth understanding of federal procurement regulations and practices
- Experience with DHS or DoD acquisition environments
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities
- Ability to manage multiple complex procurement actions under tight timelines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Positive adjudication from a CBP Background Investigation
- Position requires some travel
Desired Qualifications

- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
