Job Summary
Conduct root cause analysis on process and fixture issues, propose solutions, and sustainment plans while advising Manufacturing Engineering and leadership. Lead projects supporting fabrication and assembly operations, including tool crib evaluation and fixture design. Manage part flow through applicable processes, order parts via ERP systems, and troubleshoot equipment or automated robotic systems. Update operating procedures, JHAs, and training documents within the Training Data Base. Monitor outside supplier maintenance and support continuous improvement for tooling, fixtures, and programming.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or general education diploma
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have a basic command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Weld credentials (fabrication only)
- Knowledge of practical or documented understanding of weld equipment
- Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, and mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality system
- Experience with PCs and Windows software
- CNC Programming for the following machines: Amada Turrets, Laser cutting machines, Cincinnati Press Brakes, EVO, KOIKE, EHRT, Franklin, Bradbury Rollformer, Pivatic (fabrication only)
