Job Summary
Lead mid to large scale process development projects and new commercialization efforts while independently implementing technology upgrades on existing incineration systems. Drive strategic project execution, supervise the engineering team, and ensure deliverables meet time, budget, safety, and environmental parameters. Identify technical production problems, create project justifications with ROI, and develop cost and staffing plans. Initiate MOCs, lead PHAs and PSSRs, and define performance expectations for direct reports. Review waste stream properties, evaluate processing approaches, and ensure compliance with permits and safety standards. Assist with marketplace analyses to identify new revenue streams.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
- 10 years' experience as a process engineer
- 2 to 3 years' experience as a senior process engineer
Desired Qualifications
- Hazardous waste industry or related work experience
- Supervisory and large capital project lead experience
- Extensive knowledge in processing methodologies, data compilation, evaluation and implementation of resulting improvements
- Project management, ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong team player
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong customer orientation
