Job Summary
Senior Process Engineer needed in Calgary to support safe, reliable operation of process facilities with emphasis on gas plant assets. Responsibilities include leading plant issue troubleshooting, developing process simulations (HYSYS, ProMax, Symmetry), overseeing MOC changes, managing small projects, applying process safety and risk management practices, completing critical safety system studies, mentoring early-career engineers, driving reliability improvements, and collaborating cross-functionally with Projects and Business Development. Requires 10+ years in oil & gas operations, a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, P.Eng., process-simulation proficiency, travel to operating sites (including the US), and a valid driver’s license. Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in oil and gas operations or facilities engineering
- Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Degree
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with a provincial association
- Proficiency with process simulation software (HYSYS, ProMax, Symmetry, or equivalent)
- Willingness to travel regularly to operating sites, including the United States
- Valid driver’s license
