Job Summary
Lead capital equipment projects from concept through production startup, managing specifications for extrusion, cast acrylic, and resin handling systems. Develop RFQs, evaluate vendor proposals, and oversee installation, utility connections, and commissioning activities. Analyze post-implementation performance to drive OEE improvements and manufacturing cost reduction while ensuring full compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA standards. Partner with Operations teams to optimize machine utilization and support a zero-injury culture. Requires a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree and 7+ years in plastics manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 7+ years of experience managing capital equipment projects within a plastics manufacturing environment
- Chemical manufacturing background
- Experience with injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming, blow molding, or related plastics processing technologies
