Senior Process Engineer

Job Summary
Lead Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for incoming process tools by creating criteria, executing qualification wafer runs, and generating formal pass/fail reports. Own the end-to-end transfer of at least two process modules from R&D to the kilofab environment, including developing qualification plans, establishing SPC, and driving Design of Experiments for yield optimization. Manage tool installation timelines, coordinate vendor support, and document SOPs while training technicians on tool operations and metrology. Participate in the Change Control Board to drive process change approvals and ensure data integrity within the MES. Work in a Class 100/ISO 5 cleanroom environment to support the ramp-up of hyper-scale quantum processors.
Required Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- 5-7 years of hands-on cleanroom process engineering experience in a semiconductor fab or advanced materials fabrication environment
- Demonstrated experience with at least two of the core process modules listed above (PVD, CVD, ALD, dry/wet etching, evaporation, dicing, track or laser/e-beam writing)
- Practical experience executing or supporting equipment qualification or SAT activities
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (JMP, Minitab, Python/R for DOE and SPC analysis)
- Strong documentation skills; experience writing SOPs, process & tool specifications, and qualification reports
- Ability to work in a Class 100/ISO 5 (or equivalent) cleanroom environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in superconducting qubit fabrication, cryogenic device processing, or other quantum technology contexts
- Familiarity with cryogenic material constraints (e.g. film stress, thermal cycling behavior)
