Job Summary
Ensure designs comply with applicable process and process safety codes and standards. Develop process design basis, control philosophies, P&ID, and Cause & Effect diagrams. Actively participate in design and safety reviews, including HAZOP and LOPA. Take ownership of technical design, cost efficiency, and engineering documentation while collaborating with global teams. Mentor members and escalate risks to management. Work as an exempt employee, potentially exceeding standard hours to meet project schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant Engineering discipline
- 5-10 years of experience in process engineering
- Specialized in process control or process safety
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with (International) Codes & Standards, including CE, IEC, API
- Demonstrated knowledge of control and safeguarding logic
- Familiar with applicable functional safety standards
- Exempt employees are expected to work as many hours as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities
- This may require they work more than eight hours a day and more than five days or 40 hours per week
