Job Summary
Lead process design deliverables including process models, mass balances, and control philosophies from outline to detailed stages. Provide technical assurance on designs by others to ensure compliance with framework standards and industry best practices. Identify innovation opportunities for whole-life cost and net-zero drivers while collaborating with commercial, operational, and construction teams to develop safe, efficient solutions. Engage directly with clients to manage relationships and support their aims using a one-team approach. Mentor engineers to develop skill sets and identify correct resources for projects. Work primarily in the UK water market on wastewater treatment upgrades and storm overflow reductions. Requires degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, chartered membership, and willingness to travel to sites.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, or related field
- Chartered or incorporated member of professional institution e.g ICE, IMechE, etc, or equivalent experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Methodical approach to problem solving
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region
- Previous water experience
