Job Summary
Senior Process Engineer responsible for gas handling and RNG system optimization across Divert's facilities. Owns biogas collection, gas upgrading, CO2 removal, compression, gas quality, and pipeline injection; provides guidance to site teams, leads improvement projects, ensures proper spares/PMs, and collaborates with vendors and internal disciplines. Leads gas handling design for development projects, issues RFPs, supports commissioning and startup, and participates in commercial/regulatory discussions to align with permit conditions and renewable energy credit programs. Requires a Bachelor's in chemical engineering and 5+ years in gas upgrading/RNG facilities, with travel up to 50% in near term and ongoing nationwide travel; remote work is allowed within reasonable distance of a major airport.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience designing or operating gas upgrading / renewable natural gas production facilities
- Strong leadership, independent thinking, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication
- Interest in growing with a progressive, entrepreneurial organization
