Job Summary
Senior Process Architect leads and oversees the design of process-focused projects within highly technical, cGMP-regulated facilities, coordinating with project architects, process engineers, and clients. Responsibilities include developing architectural programs from concept through construction documentation, ensuring proper coordination with other disciplines, supervising a project team, mentoring junior staff, and growing the client base through effective relationship-building and proposals. The role requires strong collaboration, client-facing communication, and ability to translate client needs into compliant process architecture designs, with proficiency in Revit and MS Office, and willingness to travel for project development and execution. A Master of Architecture (or related field) and 10+ years of related experience, plus demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, EU, cGMP) and building codes, are required. The position supports a hybrid work arrangement in Medford, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture (or degree in a related field) with demonstrated cGMP planning experience
- At least 10 years of related experience in a Process Architect role
- Proven track record delivering architectural projects from concept to completion with knowledge of FDA, EU, cGMP, building codes, construction materials, and industry best practices
- Technical proficiency in Revit and MS Office
- Excellent communication skills (speaking, writing, graphic communication) and ability to lead conversations in programming and planning phases
- Ability to travel occasionally to moderate extents depending on project location
