Job Summary
Senior Privacy Consultant at Zaviant focused on partnering with clients to assess, design, and enhance privacy programs aligned with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include interpreting GDPR/ePrivacy and EU obligations, conducting privacy assessments, risk evaluations, and audits; leading the implementation and configuration of privacy management tools (e.g., OneTrust, TrustArc) for data mapping, DPIAs, cookie consent, subject rights, and privacy notices; collaborating with legal, compliance, IT, and business stakeholders; providing hands-on support during technology implementations; mentoring junior team members; contributing to internal knowledge sharing and thought leadership; and managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data privacy, security, compliance, or risk, ideally within a consulting or client-facing role
- Strong working knowledge of European, U.S. and global privacy regulations
- Hands-on experience with privacy technology platforms, especially OneTrust; OneTrust Expert certifications are a plus
- IAPP certifications (e.g. CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM) strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage projects, drive initiatives, and deliver quality work across multiple engagements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences
- Strategic mindset with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach to privacy challenges
- Strong client service focus with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Curious, adaptable, and team-oriented with a commitment to continuous learning
